2) Scope

This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information ("PI") when you access our website, create an account, design or upload content (including AI-generated artwork), place orders, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with our services.

3) California “Notice of Collection” (CPRA)

Categories of PI we collect: identifiers (name, username, email, phone), customer records (addresses), commercial info (orders), internet/network activity (device, IP, pages viewed), geolocation, inferences (preferences).

Sensitive PI: limited; may include government ID (for refunds), financial info (last 4 digits), and content (artwork, images, prompts). We do not collect biometric PI. We do not sell sensitive PI (e.g., SSN, precise geolocation) for normal operations.

Sources: directly from you (e.g., uploads, payments), analytics, ad networks, personalization/analytics/measurement, fraud prevention, and shipping providers.

Retention (typical): orders: up to 7 years; support records: up to 2 years; analytics logs: up to 26 months; advertising metrics: up to 12 months; de-identified data may be retained longer.

Disclosure: we do not sell PI for money; we may "share" PI for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by CPRA. You can opt out via “Your Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share” link (if available) or by contacting privacy@teediy.com. We honor opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).

4) Information We Collect

  • You provide: account data, contact/shipping/billing info, designs/images/prompts, survey/feedback, communication history.
  • Automatic: IP, device/browser, cookie IDs, session details, pages viewed, referral URLs, performance metrics, approximate location from IP.
  • Content: uploaded images and text; last 4 digits tokenized; status; carriers’ tracking/delivery status; fraud/payment records.

5) Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies, device IDs, pixels, and similar tech for core functionality, authentication, analytics, fraud prevention, and personalization. You can control cookies via browser settings. Third-party analytics/ad providers may process data under their policies. Do Not Track signals are not consistently honored across the industry; we may not respond to DNT.

6) How We Use PI

We operate and improve services; fulfill and ship orders (USPS, UniUni, GoFor, and others); personalize content and recommendations; prevent and mitigate fraud and abuse; communicate about orders; provide support and respond to inquiries; conduct analytics and research; comply with law; use of designs/prompts to train/improve AI (see 9).

7) How We Share PI

  • Service providers/processors: payments, printing/fulfillment, packaging and logistics, email/SMS vendors, analytics, fraud/security, hosting/IT.
  • Business transfers: merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
  • Legal: to comply with law, enforce terms, or protect rights/safety/property.
  • We do not permit service providers to use PI beyond our instructions.

8) Children & Teens

Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect PI from them. If you believe a child under 13 provided PI, contact us for deletion. Users 13–17 may use the services only with parental/guardian consent.

9) Designs, Prompts & AI

You own copyrights in artwork you create or upload (if any). With ownership preserved, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, adapt, publicly display/perform, and distribute content to: fulfill orders; display on product pages, galleries, and recommendation feeds; and develop, train, and improve AI models.

You can opt out of future model-training use via privacy@teediy.com (subject: “Model Training Opt-Out”). We will verify and respond as required. Effect of opt-out: already-trained models and de-identified datasets may be retained.

10) Your Privacy Rights

Subject to law (e.g., CCPA/CPRA): access, correct, delete, opt out of sale/share/targeted ads, and limit use of sensitive PI (if collected). Submit requests to privacy@teediy.com. We will verify and respond as required. We do not discriminate for exercising rights.

11) Marketing, Emails & SMS

You may opt out of marketing emails via unsubscribe links. SMS: by enrolling, you consent to receive marketing messages; message/data rates may apply; frequency varies; reply STOP to cancel; HELP for help; not required for purchase.

12) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures. No method is 100% secure.

13) International Visitors

If you access from outside the U.S., you consent to processing in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws.

14) Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be posted with an updated date.
